9 Great Conference, Slide Presentation, and Meeting Sites

I wanted to share a collection of some of the best sources for conferencing, slide shares and meetings. I will share a secret with you about me. I DON”T LIKE MEETINGS. Working at the largest radio station owner in the United States (Clear Channel Radio) instilled that dislike. We had roughly 3 meetings A DAY! It’s a wonder any of us got anything done. LOL! Well the meetings I will tolerate are the conference meetings via the web. Think about it we can meet anywhere via web around the world. That is an amazing thing!

(I had to add this one) This is a great new presentation website for slides. It is free for 15 minutes and only $29 a month for 90 minutes and 30 presentations a month (great deal).

authorSTREAM

Share your PowerPoint presentation online, and discover presentations that others have created. The feature I like is that you can transfer to your YouTube without having to re-upload.

Confabb

Confabb caught my eye because of their huge online database of conferences all over the world that allows you to search, track, discuss and review any conference, speaker or session. They are like the yellow pages of conferencing.

Google Docs

Still one of THE best FREE sources for creating presentations and sharing. Who taught me this? The Barrack Obama Campaign team where most of our projects were managed via Google Docs.

Create a video recording of your screen and host it for free (great for website or software demonstrations).

SlideShare

Publish your slideshows for the world to see, and find & download other people’s slideshows that are of interest to you.

Spresent

Free alternative to PowerPoint that’s web-based and built with Flash.

Viewbook

Online platform for hosting slideshows, presentations, photo albums and portfolios.

Yugma

Free online collaboration with real-time desktop sharing, virtual meetings and more.

Zentation

Upload your presentation videos as well as the accompanying PowerPoint presentations. This is hot imagine that you want to watch a presentation or present a presentation AND video combined to view on the web. The only issue is that they should somehow be able to combine both to be embedded so we can add to our blogs (hint hint LOL),
