The REAL question isn’t “Is Social Media a Fad?” The real question is which strategies are fads? Remember TV wasn’t a Fad but how often do you see a western run consistently on prime time TV?

MediaCurves.com conducted a study on 267 Americans that found a vast majority of Americans (87%) reported that they currently use a social networking site. facebook ranks at the top of the list, with 74% of respondents indicating that they are currently signed up for the site. Less than half of Americans (42%) indicated that they use MySpace, compared to one-third (34%) who reported that they use Twitter and 15% who reported using LinkedIn.
