What an interesting week it was. I believe in addressing challenges in the industry as well as writing the how to stuff. Thus my article about Perry Belcher. People will say I did it for traffic others will say I did it for credibility and that I am hating the guy. But if you really read that article you should get better grasp why I really did it. Either you like him (or me for that matter) or you don’t like him. Either way I addressed both sides of the argument and I stand behind my article 101%!That was an article that addressed both sides.
Another interesting feedback was from the article about FEAR. Facebook seems to really like that one.
Probably one of my two coolest surprises was the XING and the Twitter responses. Both responded to my concerns. Though I am NOT joining XING as of yet I do appreciate the feedback from the group on Linkedin for XING.
Corporate on the other hand should really work on their so called political correct responses. I asked a simple straight forward question. And their response (both email and via comment to my blog post) was disappointing.
There seems to be an air of arrogance concerning the comparison question (as in how dare you Darren ask us to compare ourselves to Linkedin).
Twitter actually got 2 people who lost a combined 35,000+ followers due to the Twitter Thursday and though I was critical of them I do give thanks and praise when people at least try to do something right.
