This is another discussion about how to apply my new book coming out called Solve to Sell. I think it would be ironic for me to discuss delivering quick answers yet have a long article. In part one of this series I talked about How to Sell without Looking Like an Ass. Then in part two I outlined how and Why Idiots Outsell Einstein and You Can Too. See there is nothing wrong with being a “salesperson” as long as you are solving your target audiences problems.
That way you don’t look like a cheap gimmicky intruding ass (laughing). And in part two I was saying that you shouldn’t discount what sells. I brought up funny stuff like the Pet Rock and the Chia Pet. And I discussed some of the psychology behind WHY they sold and still sell so well.

People want the quick and simple answer. “Simple” is part of the original solution but “quick” clarifies the rate of speed at which it is delivered.

For example that means if you have a hot solution for SEO. In most cases (non black hat) SEO takes weeks and months. In this case you need to find a way your leads can see some quick results within 30 days. The solution in this industry is to sell SEO programs by mentioning quick Google indexing. I am sure most of us have seen that. They are doing this to address a quick solution.
Here are some quick ideas to use and avoid
Be careful of scarcity ploys (dont be a clone copycat)
Depending on the niche they may no longer work. The internet marketing niche for instance has BURNED THEM OUT. So even if you actually only have 3 or are really closing your program. People in that niche don’t believe it because they have heard it before.
BS Bonuses (focus on the quality of the main offer)
Another burnout in some niches (again internet info marketing). Sometimes a great offer has nothing to do with bonuses. And everything to do with a great original offer. How FANTASTIC can you make your offer? That will require you to really tap into what your audience wants. The more you know them the better you will sell bonus or not.
Clarify that it is applicable NOW (how quick to learn and use it)
Hey it is no longer fashionable to have very detailed information with no plan of action. Remember people are overwhelmed so how quickly can they learn and apply it is critical. An example is the landingpage wars going on as I write this. People are developing newer landing pages for wordpress. That’s because they know it can get indexed quickly and there is a demand for a quick solution. The winner of the war is the one that can get people building the easiest.
Let them Know You Understand the Law (FTC them quickly)
This is a jugular I am using with my pages going forward. I have no problem citing the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) laws about selling online. And that is because I am not a nefarious marketer. The quicker you are to refer to your local laws and that you follow them. The quicker the sale via trust. Here in the USA you could get into double trouble if you say your following the FTC rules and not actually be doing that.

Now I am not a lawyer but there is no case about “fake testimonial” if these people are vouching for you not your product. After all Linkedin is your witness that they are real.
Real Live Case Study
Those of you afraid that my suggestion above lacks a product testimonial. Well lets do a live case study with your product and or service. Now I know what you experienced online entrepreneurs are about to say (yes I am psychic laughing). “Darren anyone could make that stuff up like a photoshopped clickbank pic.” And your right but people want to see if it really works. So this can be a major selling point. They are in essence saying “don’t teach do and show me how you did it”. The only area this gets a little touchy for is niche marketing. Because of the need for secrecy. However if your willing to use a sacrificial lamb website for everyone to see it could increase the speed of your sales.
