The Funniest Benefits of Hot Online Business Ideas

This is an article that spawned from my post here explaining in detail how I actually home up with headlines and content for my site. So I figured why not actually write one of these online business ideas for articles here?
The following are some really funny things that actually happened. When I created these posts they actually went viral. Remember writing with a plan is definitely a good thing but sometimes a spontaneous article here or there can go far.
The Steve Jobs “incident” :The first funny thing that ever happened was years ago I wrote a very short post that asked Is Jerry Yang at Yahoo The New Steve Jobs at Apple? The next thing you know the fake Steve Jobs did a short post about me titled This headline made me puke. This was my FIRST big link from another blog. And at the time I was on vacation with my wife in San Antonio. When I checked my stats low and behold I had like 4000 hits in ONE day (laughing). What you don’t see in this article is that they called everything but a child of God. I guess he lost the comment section when he changed servers. Now at first I was insulted of course but after some thought I was like “cooooll” after all how many times does a legendary blog link to you?
The Scratch Your Butt and Sniff “Incident”: Another thing I did was to make fun of all of the “get paid 1 Million Dollars online business ideas”. So I wrote Get Paid 1 Million Dollars to Scratch Your Butt and Sniff. And before my permalinks changed thus turning my tweetmeme to zero I had like 100 something retweets. I even talk about it in a guest post I wrote here.
I created twitterhug and it went viral: Again don’t judge by dumb old tweetmeme who zeroed out ALL of my retweet records after I changed my permalink structure. But before that I had a lot of retweets plus it still is viral today look on twitter. People I don’t even know (some I don’t want to know LOL) are using that around the world.
The benefits of all three is that of course I received a combined 50,000 in traffic . But another under the radar fact is that these posts led to business via purchases (yes I asked customers what brought them to me).
You never know who is watching.
